Our Wednesday was wondrous! We took a moodle test today on our language arts story, The Stranger. In the afternoon our 204 scientists conducted a standard experiment with our flipper system in which we carefully controlled all of the variables. Take a look at the short video!

We have two contests going on right now! One is for returning our library books on time! Another is for choice hour forms! All choice hour forms are due tomorrow in our classroom! Can you believe they are planning for first quarter already?!!!!

We had a terrific Tuesday! We spent the afternoon constructing our flipper system. We then tested a cork, stopper and two aluminum balls! We discovered that the lighter the ball, the farther it will fly. The variable we tested today was mass!

Thank you for the gorgeous arrangement of flowers in honor of teacher appreciation week!! Today rotated the arrangement around the different tables in our class for all to enjoy!! The flowers smell delightful and are such a wonderful way to bring more sunshine right into our classroom!

We had such a terrific Tuesday today! Today we continued learning about Core Democratic Values and worked hard on Chapters 20 and 21 of our Sign of the Beaver novel. This afternoon we learned about persuasive writing. Tomorrow we will begin writing our own persuasive paragraphs.
